capital city and is within easy access to the country's main road network,
reaching the whole of central Scotland and beyond.

Getting there
Edinburgh By road
Road access to the airport is easy from the two-level junction on the
A8 midway between the Gogar and Newbridge roundabouts.
If approaching from the Edinburgh side join the A8 from the city bypass
and proceed towards Glasgow. From the North and West you should join the
A8 at the Newbridge roundabout and proceed towards Edinburgh. Follow signs
for the airport.

Edinburgh By Bus and Coach
Public service bus stops are located at stand 18 on the terminal forecourt
road outside the UK arrivals hall.
There is a fast bus service to Edinburgh city centre (number 100) which
operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The ticket cost is currently
£3.40 single or £5.00 return. Tickets can be brought from
the onward travel desk in the UK arrivals hall, the airport information
desk in the International arrivals hall, or on the bus from the driver.
The journey takes around 25 minutes and terminates at Waverley Bridge,
which is near to the main railway and bus stations, just off the city's
main street, Princes Street.
The frequency of the service is from every 10 minutes at peak times through
the day, to every 30 minutes at night.
A new bus service, number 35 operates from Ocean Terminal (east of Edinburgh
City Centre) via City Centre, Edinburgh Park Station to Edinburgh Airport.
It operates from the bus stand in front of the Airlink bus stop to the
City Centre and runs a 20-minute service departing from the Ocean Terminal
at 05:04 hours and arriving at Edinburgh Airport at 06:02 hours. It operates
from Edinburgh Airport from 06:05 hours until 23:50 hours Monday to Friday
with a reduced service operating on Saturday and Sunday. Detailed timetables

Edinburgh By Train
Edinburgh's main railway station (Waverley) is in the city centre and
can be reached by taxi or bus. From here there are services to Glasgow
and a variety of other destinations in Scotland and England. Most train
services also operate from Edinburgh Haymarket station which is on the
main bus route between the airport and city centre.
