The hotel Ondamar has a wide range of well-being, beauty and sport facilities. There is also a range of beauty treatments and massages available. The hotel’s sport and fitness Club; “Onda Revital” includes the following facilities: Fitness, Aerobic, Squash, Volleyball, Well-being, Yoga, Massage, Beauty and Anti-stress programs. 5 restaurants, 3 bars, 1 indoor pool, 2 outdoor swimming pools, a large swimming complex with easy sea access as well as a fully equipped diving centre.
The hotel is located in a very quiet area and all the rooms have sea view. Among the many facilities available for our clients are 5 different restaurants offering a wide range of specialty and local dishes, 3 bars, 2 outdoor swimming pools, one indoor pool, diving centre, hairdresser, a small supermarket. A sports centre is also available featuring approximately 2.5000 m² with 3 squash courts, 2 saunas, steam bath, jacuzzi, physiotherapy, massages, thalassotherapy as well as a full range of beauty treatments. The fitness club offers the possibilities to practice various types of sports such as; aerobic, fitness, volleyball, Basketball, yoga etc.

If cancelled up to 6 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first three nights will be charged.

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. All children from 2 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night for extra beds. All older children or adults are charged 80 % of the room stay per night for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
All rooms have sea view and are fully furnished with all common facilities. Several of the standard rooms have communication doors.
The Ondamar Restaurant offers various delicious meals from all over the world. The daily buffet breakfast is served from 7:30a.m. - 10:00a.m. and themed buffets dinner from 6:30p.m. - 9:00p.m.
The à la carte Restaurant O Galo offers the best of Madeiran and Portuguese Cuisine, as well as a variety of traditional and international dishes.
Atlantis Restaurant serves fish specialities. It is situated in the Balnear complex with a wonderful panoramic view.
Pizzaria Galosol - Italian specialities.
Pancake House - a restaurant dedicated to children with pancakes and a playground area.
Hotel Ondamar is 8km drive from the airport. To reach our hotel you should take the high-way in direction to Funchal until you find a sign indicating “Caniço de Baixo”, which is your way out, then turn to the left hand-side. Once you are in Caniço de Baixo you will see a sign indicating “Galo Resort Ondamar”. After following this indication you will find another sign indicating “hoteis”.At the end of the road you have to turn right and on the right hand side is our Hotel.
