The George & Pilgrim Hotel is situated in the beautiful town of Glastonbury. Founded in the early 15th century, the hotel has welcomed people for over 500 years.
The oldest purpose built Inn within the Southwest, The George & Pilgrims Hotel is steeped with history. 14 en-suite bedrooms, 8 of which are situated within the oldest part of the building and have their own distinctive character. There are three four poster bedrooms, one of which is named after King Henry VIII, who apparently stayed in the hotel during the dissolution.
Accommodation within the new wing benefits from refurbishment in February 2006. An excellently located hotel for business meetings for up to 50 delegates, or functions for up to 90 people. The Chalice Suite is also licensed for Civil Ceremonies.

Both of our Single En-Suite rooms are at the rear of the hotel and benefit from recent refurbishment. All of our rooms have colour LCD TV screens.

The Pilgrims Bar offers Real Ales, cider and fresh, locally produced food. The restaurant - Chef prides himself on using only the finest ingredients and local produce where possible.
Indulge yourselves in contemporary British food with a twist, in rich surroundings. Our wines have been carefully selected with both old and new world wines available.
From j23 of the m5 take the a39 to Glastonbury. The hotel is situated on Glastonbury High Street (a39) at the bottom of the hill in the town centre. The nearest railway station is Castle Cary.
