Centrally located in the market town of Yeovil, this friendly, privately-run hotel provides good access to Devon and the South-West. The Westland Conference and Leisure Complex is also less than 5 minutes’ drive away.
The Globe and Crown offers exceptional value, with single, twin, double and family rooms. All rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. Cots are available on request when making your reservation.
Please note that some of the rooms are located over the bar, which is open until 00:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
The hotel also has an excellent catering team, which is able to offer a range of finger buffets, cold or hot fork buffets and one to 4-course menus, all to suit a wide range of palates and budgets. The recently refurbished restaurant and bar offers a main and a lunchtime menu, with various special offers always available. The restaurant is happy to provide options for vegetarians, vegans and individuals with special dietary requirements.
Please be aware that Globe & Crown does not have a lift.

All children are welcome. All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. Extra beds are not available. Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
Your credit card will be debited by hotelinfo ltd 48 hours before arrival.
All rooms are fully ventilated, with en-suite bathroom and/or shower and luxury bath towels. Individual radiator central heating controls assure your warmth and comfort. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities, fully illuminated and spacious executive workspace and hairdryers are also provided for your convenience. Iron and toiletries available at reception. Remote control tv offers all channels, and direct dial telephone incorporating a wake-up call facility are installed in all rooms.

The Globe & Crown boasts an excellent refurbished restaurant which is able to offer the highest quality of menus to suit a wide range of palates and budgets.
By Car (from the A303):
- Leave the A303 at the Cartgate roundabout and take the A3088, following the signs towards Yeovil.
- At the end of this road, take the 3rd exit at the roundabout.
- Follow this road directly across the mini-roundabout and continue straight ahead through 2 sets of traffic lights, B&Q and Safeway.
- At the next roundabout (by the police station), take the 2nd exit, straight over the mini roundabout and up the hill.
- On the brow of the hill, take a left turn into the road signed Penn Hill.
- Follow this one- way street and take the 2nd left into St Nicholas Close.
- Follow this small road and drive through the surgery car park to the lower half and park in one of the reserved spaces.
- Follow the lit walkway.
- At the bottom of this walkway, on the left, is the entrance to The Globe and Crown and to the right is the entrance to the bar and restaurant.
Parking:
The Globe and Crown has limited parking available. There are various NCP public car parks within easy walking distance of the hotel, with parking available at an additional cost.
Please note that if you park in the doctors surgery, you are liable to be clamped or fined. The Globe and Crown will not be held responsible for this.
