This 16th century Tudor building dated 1604, is situated on the banks of the River Colne; a fine base for exploring Constable Country and England's oldest recorded town, Colchester.
Take a walk through the beautiful castle park, or take time to see the East Anglian coastline, and Flatford Mill, the inspiration for John Constable's 'Hay Wain.'
The hotel, with en suite rooms, is situated in Colchester town centre and in an ideal place for business clients and visitors, as it is only minutes from the main railway station (50 minutes to London Liverpool Street). You can also find a leisure centre, theatre, Roman castle and park, Colchester Zoo, nightclubs, main business parks and more within a short journey.
