This hotel is Northern Ireland's favorite hotel and celebrated its centenary in 1997. The hotel stands in six acres of private gardens leading to the world famous Royal County Down Golf Club.
Offering deluxe accommodation, luxurious surroundings and excellent facilities for holiday and weekend breaks, the hotel provides the ideal setting for every occasion. The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment (until the 18th Sept 2006). Disruption is minimal.
The only pets allowed at this hotel are guide dogs.

The Hotel is located approximately 30 miles from Belfast, along the scenic a24 road, and approximately 85 miles from Dublin on the 25/m1 route. Travelling time from Belfast is approximately 50 minutes. From Dublin Airport travelling time is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.
