Located in the heart of Darlington’s historic town centre, this delightful Victorian property has been carefully updated to provide a range of modern comforts whilst maintaining its original period features.
Following a fire in August 2008, the King’s Hotel is undergoing extensive refurbishment with a view to re-open in 18 months. The section of the hotel that was not affected by the fire is however fully operational with 26 rooms on offer. A welcoming lounge serves a continental breakfast each morning and afternoon tea and coffee.
The King’s Hotel is within a short stroll of Darlington’s bars, shops and nightlife. It is also just 20 minutes from the historic city of Durham, 5 minutes from Darlington train station and a short journey from Durham Tees Valley Airport.
