This 17th-century coaching inn is located on Ashby's main high street. Family run, it offers home-cooked English food and a lively weekend nightclub.
The Queen's Head Hotel is close to all the main local motorways, and a short journey from Birmingham and East Midlands Airport.
An intimate front bar is open from 11:00 until midnight (22:00 on Sundays) and serves traditional food.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the hotel features Ciros Night Club (open till 02:00) and The Loft Bar (open till 01:00). It's popular and so a bit noisy, but residents are on the guest list and get a free drink!
The hotel also features a large outside smoking area and a TV lounge.

All children are welcome. All children under 7 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged GBP 15.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. There is no capacity for cots in the room.
The Queens Head is a very lively place at the weekend due to the fact it has 2 bars and a nightclub on the premises which are open until 02:30. For guests booking accommodation over the weekend period, please note the hotel is located on a very busy high street, and due to the bars and nightclub, it can be extremely noisy until the early hours of the morning.
Parking:
Car parking is at a pay-and-display car park on the street behind the hotel, for which there is a small charge. The car park has surveillance cameras in operation.
The hotel does not accept American Express credit cards.
These reasonably sized single rooms have shared shower and toilet facilities.
Most twin rooms feature digital TVs (with Freeview) and DVD players.
The Queen's Head Hotel serves traditional English food, including cottage pies, roast of the day and scampi and chips.
Lunch is served from 12:00 until 14:00. Evening meals are served from 18:00 until 21:00.
By Road:
Take exit off the m42 (a42) if coming from the South, and exit 13 off a42 (m42) if coming from the North. If coming from the m1, take exit 22, and follow a50 (a511) to Ashby-De-La-Zoch.
By Public Transport:
Nearest train station is Burton-on-Trent, 9 miles away.
