Getting there
Gatwick By road
Gatwick Airport is at Junction 9 of the M23 motorway and on the A23 London
to Brighton road.
London Gatwick is 45kms (28 miles) south of London, directly linked to
the M23 motorway at junction 9 and to the A23 London-Brighton road. Just
a 10 minute drive away, the M25 further connects with the UK's extensive
road and motorway network.
Setting down of passengers
If you are setting down passengers at the airport there are designated
set down points located outside each terminal. Although you are permitted
to unload on the terminal forecourts you should be aware that waiting
is not permitted. Police and airport staff patrol the forecourts on a
regular basis and ask waiting vehicles to move on.
Picking up of passengers
Waiting is not permitted on the airport forecourts at any time. If you
are meeting someone from a flight you should use the short stay car parks.
Unattended vehicles
For security reasons vehicles should not be left unattended at any time.
Any vehicle left unattended outside a terminal will be swiftly removed
by the police. A charge of £105.00 is made for its recovery and
a £40.00 parking ticket will also be given. If the vehicle is not
collected on the day it is removed there will be a further charge of £12.00
for each day's storage.

Gatwick Airport Parking
Gatwick By Bus and Coach
There are more than 400 express coach services a day from the coach stations
at North and South Terminals. Gatwick's coach station is at the ground
floor of South Terminal and principle services also call at North Terminal.
There are coach information and ticket desks in the arrivals areas of
both terminals.
National Express Airport No. 700 (formerly Speedlink) coach services
operate from dedicated bases at the South and North Terminals. All other
coach services stop at London Gatwick's coach station on the ground floor
of South Terminal. Principal services also call at North Terminal. Other
passengers arriving at the South Terminal should take the transit train
to the North Terminal if necessary.

transfer. (Formerly Speedlink)
This service operates between Gatwick and Heathrow airports. There are
dedicated points at both South and North Terminal. Tickets and information
can be obtained at the bus and coach ticket desk on the Arrivals level
of both South and North Terminal. Average journey time between Heathrow
and Gatwick is approximately 80 minutes depending on traffic and time
of day. Journeys may take longer at peak traffic times.

Gatwick By Train
Gatwick railway station at South Terminal has more than 900 services
daily to and from all parts of the UK.
The rail station is directly linked to Gatwick's South Terminal and just
a few minutes away from North Terminal via a transit train link. Rail
information and ticket desks are in the arrivals areas of both North Terminal
and South Terminal.
Thameslink
This offers services every 15 minutes to Brighton, Croydon, the City,
Luton and Bedford.
Southern trains
Services operate every 15 minutes during the day to and from Victoria
- and every hour at night. Southern offers other options for onward travel
with trains calling at East Croydon and Clapham Junction to the North
and Brighton, Eastbourne, Portsmouth to the South as well as other south
coast destinations.Services operate Northwards to East Croydon, Clapham
Junction, Victoria and Watford Junction.
Connex South Eastern
Services operate to Redhill, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
Thames Trains
Services run to Redhill, Guildford and Reading with some trains running
through to Oxford.
Virgin Trains Cross Country
Services operate to destinations including Birmingham, Manchester and
Edinburgh.
