La struttura occupa una proprietà georgiana con vista sulla splendida campagna del Somerset. Costruita nel 1805 come residenza di William Cadbury, viene associata con la famosa famiglia fondatrice della fabbrica di cioccolato (Cadbury). L'hotel offre camere distribuite tra l'edificio principale e il cortile, interamente rinnovate e dotate di alti standard di qualità.

The main house rooms are located in the original Georgian Manor House and offer a choice of double or twin bedded rooms, with a romantic four-poster also available. These 10 superior rooms are particularly spacious, with delightful views of the surrounding countryside or the landscaped gardens.
The courtyard wing is situated just a few paces to the rear of the main house, across a cobbled walkway. This wing contains all standard bedrooms, all 10 of which are comfortably decorated and furnished. Whilst these rooms may be more compact than those in the main house, all offer either double or twin beds and a number have convenient ground floor access, although none are specifically modified for disabled use.

Table d'hôte, à la carte and bar snack menus are available most evenings and there should be something to suit all tastes and budgets. The restaurant is of course open to non-residents for dinner every evening as well as for Sunday lunches. However, it is always advisable to pre-book so as to avoid disappointment.
The hotel is located on the A38, approximately 2 miles south of Taunton and 4 miles from Wellington.

- Exit the motorway at junction 26 and follow the signs to the A38 and Wellington.
- At the next roundabout, turn right onto the A38 and travel towards Taunton.
- The hotel is located approximately 3 miles along this road, on the right hand side apposite a pub called The Rumwell Inn.
